made it happen

Every milestone we’ve reached started off as a dream. And the journey to making it happen was quite adventurous. These dreams began with the simple basics: a pen, paper and high times. We sat on top of the clouds, witnessed the uprising of the illest tastemakers in the Bay and inhaled all of what the golden state has to offer - the art, the people and Cali's fruits. All of which are major influences to MaryJane. Every piece of Maryjane Clothing has its own story and we’ve topped it off with the latest, our Burner collection. We’ve been blessed with old and new friends that have supported and fueled us to stop the dreaming and start living it. We’re closing this book as the last chapter of this decade ends. We’re blazing 2010 away and keeping it hella irie as we start a new story next year.

MaryJane...sing it, smoke it, sport it. The possibilities are endless.

2011 = next level.

Love & Light,

MaryJane Ladies

letter to santa

Dear Santa,

I'm making my list and checking it twice...
I've been told I've been naughty and definitely nice.
I have all the new toys and all the jewelry blings,
but what I want most are the sweet goodies MaryJane’s selling!!!

There's a Hella Irie dress that I know will look good
with a pair of sneaks or all styles of boots.
Another is the Rae Dawn sweatshirt which falls off the shoulders.
It shows a little bare skin but gives off a lotta my flavor.
To help you out with gift ideas (just in case you need it),
Rasta tees and Hella Irie hoodies come in all sizes,
so both men and ladies can sport it.

I don't think I'm asking for too much.
I'm only asking for the best.
And I think it's the perfect present for everyone's list!

Love,
MaryJane

“Roll." And tosses a small package at me.

I look at it for a minute, somewhat stunned that I was given an important duty.

“I don’t know how.”

“First time for everything. Figure it out.”

Damn him. He expects me to learn while cruising in the back seat of the car?

No escaping out of this one. I look over at my girl and she’s shaking her head, like...whew I’m glad he didn’t ask me to do it.

What the hell...I go through the steps in my head, remembering how the boys did it.

step 1-split the Philly in the middle *where's the brown paper bag?

step 2- break it up well *specially if its sticky icky

step 3 - scoop it all up *do.not.waste

step 4 -seal it up. *yum, i like peach

“Allright. Done.” I tap him on the shoulder and hand it over for his inspection.

Light up” and hands it back to me.

A small fire blazes out of the lighter, and *puff*

I pass it along and hope it doesn’t run.

After making a full circle, he turns around to me with a huge grin on his face, marking his approval.

MaryJane...100% approved.

I'm in love with 25 men...

Congratulations to the SF Giants and the whole Bay Area!!! It was a long grueling season for fans as we watched too many games with anxiety and bated breath for that seemingly torturous last out. But once done and won, we loved every minute of it. On the 173rd game of the year, game # 5 of the World Series, who better to have on the mound and pitch the best game ever but our 2x Cy Young winner, Tim Lincecum!

The team was composed of what the main stream media labeled the "band of misfits, thrown haphazardly together in the middle of the season," and considered to be the underdogs throughout the whole regular and post season. Yet it's the Bay's own collection of eccentric baseball players that won the honor to bring home the game's most coveted prize, the World Series trophy. The Bay Area is the shining gem in the world of baseball tonight.

Thanks for one helluva season SF GIANTS, BRUCE BOCHY, and BRIAN SABEAN.

Passing out MaryJane stix!

warning: will catch fire

We'll be celebrating Aries birthdays early in the month and continuing the trend till the end for the Tauruses!

It's SAVE THE EARTH time in the Bay, so let's contribute. Something simple like BYOB...bring your own bag. For the munchies use recyclable bags that can be purchased anywhere for $2 and use a more trendy oversized bag when shopping for clothes, shoes, makeup, and stuff them in---paid. And of course the obvious walk to your destination if possible, and inhale the clean air cos Bay Area residents plant green everywhere. Stay smart and keep our home golden.

===~~ Happy 420 ya'll! Hope you got to participate.

PS.. loving the sports scene
Major league baseball season has officially started and so far, San Francisco Giants are looking all mighty with their 2x Cy Young winner, Tim Lincecum. Oakland A's are rolling along, too. San Jose Sharks are skating on thin ice for the Stanley Cup. Later in the month San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders draft their number 1 picks. As a die-hard fan, I EXPECT MY TEAMS TO GO ALL THE WAY IN 2010. Much respect to the fellas out there playing every day. Game definitely recognizes game in the Bay.
