Wax Poetics

This lovely piece of journalism comes out every few months. Wax Poetics gives you a look
into new and old genres, and how they influence and mold each other in present day music
and culture. It gives an in depth look into how songs/albums come to life. These are stories
rarely told; about what goes in to the creation and production of the song, the method
behind the madness, so to speak, and of course, it offers plenty of articles and reviews
 about vinyl.

What attracts me to WP is not only the content but the love and attention put into the
detail of the magazine from the size (smaller than your typical mag), layout, finish and even
the ads, this mag just begs for you to read it.

Music, not just listening to it, but reading about it is an essential part of how I enjoy music.
If you’re a music lover like me, and have a affinity for vinyl, I recommend picking up this mag.
You will not be disappointed. They also make for a cool collection of cover art. Peep my pic
below of some of their classic covers (issues 5, 7, & 8).

You won’t find WP on every newsstand, but you can find it at Barnes & Noble (surprise!)
and most local independent bookstores, or you can subscribe by going to waxpoetics.com.
