The TDK Crew and Nvr Ovr are proud to present Dream Day 12.
Celebrating the life and legacy of Mike “Dream” Francisco.
Thursday, February 16th, 2012

The Oakland Metro Opera House, Oakland

Art exhibition by TDK crew + more

Music by DJs: ShortKut, Sake One, Fuze, Myke One,
Pam the Funkstress, Platurn, Sean G, Tim Diesel and Willie Maze.
Live drums by Big G of the 808 Band

Performances by: Equipto, Max Kane & Teeko Ensemble,
L*Roneous, Renegade Rockers, Dub Esquire and Mic T.

Some of the Bay Area’s best DJs and Artists will gather to pay
tribute to life and legacy of Oakland’s beloved Graffiti King and Bay Area
legend, Mike “DREAM” Francisco. Recognized worldwide as a style master,
Dream’s graffiti established the visual aesthetic of Oakland’s Hip Hop culture,
and put The Town on the map in what is now the fastest growing art
movement in human history.

This event marks the twelfth year since Dream was tragically murdered.
All proceeds will benefit the Dream Book Fund & the Dream Legacy Fund for
his son Akil Francisco, Dream’s only son, now 12 years old.

Check out the Legacy: The Art of Mike "DREAM" Francisco exhibit, which honors the life of the artist and writer Mike "DREAM" Francisco who pioneered the art form of "graffiti" on the West Coast.
